There were a total of 3. Two brown ones and 1 green one. They ate so much so fast - it was amazing. Two were gone by nightfall - dinner for something I assume. We have one in a butterfly cage hoping to see what giant butterfly it will become. The mouth extended so far out when it was stretching - they were very fascinating. Great shots! I'd take a picture of the mosquitos that Ike dumped on us, if I could stand still without getting carried away by them. Honestly, I've always lived in mosquito country and I've never seen swarms like we have right now. In broad daylight, too!
Can I trade you our mosquitos for your caterpillars? :)
