For each child's birhtday, Rhea takes him/her to the donut shop 1st thing in the morning. This is super special because our kids really only eat doughnuts on the Sundays we are on set-up at GCC and on their birthdays (and I guess their siblings' birthdays too). On April 24th, two kids get to go with Rhea because they share the same birthday!
This is a great way to do donuts! I doubt we would let our kids have them every week at church either due to health concerns, but a special birthday treat with Dad is a different thing altogether. And as an added bonus they taste a lot better when you only get one every great now and then, don't they? I'll remember this when our children finally come along...
